ATGENDER Early Career Researchers Working Group Roundtable: Writing and Publishing

The new ATGENDER Early Career Researchers (ECR) Working Group is now open for participation in its upcoming online roundtable on writing and publishing for early career researchers.The event will take place on 14 July 2026, from 16:00 to 17:00 CET.
This session will create a space for an open and reflective conversation about the challenges of the publishing world. Invited speakers Estella Carpi, Denis Muhangi, and Ece Canli will draw on their academic trajectories, expertise, and positions to discuss the realities of publishing both within and beyond mainstream academic channels.
Topics will include how to overcome barriers to publication, balance academic expectations with community engagement, write about sensitive topics without self-censorship, foster collaborative research environments, and learn from both successes and setbacks along the way.
