Monique Wittig and French materialist feminism

The Elena Cornaro Center is pleased to invite you to the new series of NextGenerationCEC research seminars dedicated to the thought of Monique Wittig.

The first introductory meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 26, from 4:30 pm in the “Piergiorgio Cancellieri” Library ( Antonio Papisca University Centre for Human Rights, University Complex, via Beato Pellegrino, 29 - Padua) with introductory talks by Clara Mogno, Sabrina Carollo, and Valentina Bortolami on Wittig and French materialist feminism.

To participate, we recommend reading "You're Not Born a Woman: Paths, Texts, and Contexts of Materialist Feminism in France," edited by Sara Garbagnoli and Vincenza Perilli.#
