Call for papers - Exile and Statelessness: Dialogues with and beyond Hannah Arendt

The Hannah Arendt Consortium at the University of Cambridge is inviting abstracts for the workshop Exile and Statelessness: Dialogues with and beyond Hannah Arendt, which will take place on March 26, 2025, at the Faculty of Education.

Topics may include the relationship between statelessness and nationalism, dynamics of diasporic communities, Arendt's reflections on the nation-state, and political identity construction. Proposals adopting or challenging Hannah Arendt's theoretical frameworks are encouraged.

Abstracts (max. 300 words) should include the author's name, institutional affiliation, and contact information. Submissions are due by February 20, 2025, and acceptance notifications will be sent by March 1, 2025. Submissions should be sent via the official workshop website: www.arendtcentrecambridge.com/cfp/.
