The “Elena Cornaro University Centre for gender studies and policies” is a meeting point for those who work from a gender perspective at the University of Padua; it is a research site where planning and innovation take place; it is a structure that promotes teaching and training activities related to gender knowledge; it is a bridge between the University and the civil society.

The Centre collects the legacy and the history of organisms and groups that have worked for equal opportunities, gender equality and gender-related research at the University of Padua.

By actively participating in European and international research and advocacy networks, the Centre contributes to the achievement of “Gender Equality”, the 5th Global Goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations.
