By improving the plurality of skills available at the University of Padua, the Elena Cornaro University Centre presents itself as a reference point for gender-related issues in the territory.

The Centre promotes exchanges and discussions with external stakeholders such as public and private organizations and institutions on a local, national and international level by organising the following activities:

- Planning events and cultural initiatives;

- Publishing books, essays and articles;

- Presenting books and research reports;

- Organizing workshops and lectures open to the citizenship.
