Call for papers| "Queer Fragments: Breaking, Repairing, Transforming".

The EUI Queer Feminist Studies Working Group, together with researchers from various research centers and groups, including PoliTesse, Queer Budapest, and Queer, Trans, Intersex Studies Collective, are organizing the conference "Queer Fragments: Breaking, Repairing, Transforming".

The conference will be held on June 4 and 5 in Florence, at the European University Institute, but can also be followed online.

Contriutions that promote innovative and diverse perspectives and adopt interdisciplinary approaches are encouraged. Queer ideas and practices that challenge every discipline, pushing it to its limits by (de)(re)constructing it, will be welcomed. Contributions will be accepted from scholars as well as profesionals, activists, workers, artists, performers, and journalists. 

Deadline: January 9, 2026.

Proposal must be submitted in PDF format and must include an abstract (350 words), a brief presentation (100 words), and the preferred language (English and possible additional languages).
