Gender Equality Index 2023

On the 24th of October, the European Institute for Gender Equality - EIGE published the Gender Equality Index 2023, the index that measures the progress of gender equality in different areas of economic and social life in the EU Member States.

The thematic focus of this report is the socially equitable transition of the Green Deal and its consequences on gender equality.

It focuses on two specific priority areas of the socially equitable transition of the Green Deal, namely energy and transport.
