MA courses: programmes in Gender at the University of Warwick
The Centre for the Study of Women and Gender at the University of Warwick (UK) offers two Master's programmes for which applications are open until 2 August 2026.
MA in GENDER and INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Warwick has a long tradition of research and teaching in the field of gender and sexuality. Since 1993, it has been home to the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender, one of the UK's leading feminist research centers.
The University of Warwick's Master's programs draw on the expertise of various disciplines offered by the University and utilize innovative learning and assessment approaches inspired by feminist, queer, and decolonial pedagogies. The courses aim to move beyond familiar histories of gender and sexuality to explore the intersectional complexities of contemporary gendered lives.
Warwick students also co-produce knowledge and become part of the research community. They are encouraged and supported by staff in developing their own initiatives, including the opportunity to receive funding to organize activities in their areas of interest, together with other students.
MA funding, scholarships and grants are managed by the University and the Department of Sociology.
