Masculinities and Gender-based violence

Sage Journals has recently published three articles about gender violence and different kind of masculinities.

The first article, Men Have Gender and Women Are People: A Structural Approach to Gender and Violence, analises the relationship between violence and patriarchal gender system and aimes to show the lackness of structural analyses that account gender in explanations and conceptualizations of violence in the scholarship.

The second article, Positive Masculinities and Gender-Based Violence Educational Interventions Among Young People: A Systematic Review, focuses on the concept of hegemonic masculinity and tries to identify positive masculinity to combat gender violence.
