Summer School -"Entanglements: Postcolonial Transtextual Dialogues"

There is an upcoming Summer School -"Entanglements: Postcolonial Transtextual Dialogues" that will take place from July 6 to July 10, 2026, in Padova at the Beato Pellegrino campus.

The Summer School aims to build a dialogue "between and beyond" literary texts, between and beyond the diverse souls of the postcolonial movement, encompassing environmentalism, queer studies, posthuman thought, and ecofeminism, seeking to unleash new possibilities for understanding the " contemporary extreme." This edition will focus on the theme of "postcolonial horrors," exploring horror as an aesthetic, political, and epistemological symbol.

Participation, worth 4 credits, is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students. The Summer School fee is €500; 20% exemption is available for students from partner universities and a 50% exemption for Arqus students (including Unipd students).

Registration is open until March 15, 2026, using the dedicated form.
