In celebration of IPSA’s 75th anniversary, the Gender Inequalities in Political Science Survey has been launched to monitor and promote gender and diversity equality in the field.

All IPSA members, members of affiliated associations, and the global political science community are invited to participate. The survey, which takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, examines perceptions of working conditions, inappropriate behaviors in interpersonal relations, and gender inequalities in the discipline.

Participants will automatically enter a raffle to win one of three IPSA memberships.

Since 2009, IPSA has been monitoring the status of women in political science and expanded this initiative in 2017 to include diversity. The 2023 report highlights the persistent under-representation of women and diverse groups, particularly in leadership roles. This survey aims to collect essential data to support ongoing efforts in advancing equity within the discipline.
