Coimbra Group Annual Conference and General Assembly

Coimbra Group organizes the Annual Conference and General Assembly that will take place from 31 May to 2 June in Cologne.

Coimbra Group, founded in 1985 and formally constituted by Charter in 1987, is an association of long-established European multidisciplinary universities of high international standard. The Coimbra Group is committed to creating special academic and cultural ties in order to promote, for the benefit of its members, internationalisation, academic collaboration, excellence in learning and research, and service to society. It is also the purpose of the Group to influence European educational policy and to develop best practice through mutual exchange of experience. 

The current Conference will focus on the topic "Africa Meets Europe -Academic Cooperation for a Sustainable Global Future". 

During these three days, themes such as Academic Exchange and Mobility, Development Cooperation, Doctoral Studies, Education Innovation, Employability, Equality & Diversity, Heritage, Latin America, Life Sciences, Research Support Officers, Social Sciences & Humanities and STEM will be discussed.
