Girls and Mathematics

This year, on June 7 2023, the African Women in Mathematics Association (AWMA) is organizing an online event from 14:00 to 16:00 (UTC).

The programme focuses on « girls and Mathematics » and includes successively:

-journey in Mathematics with renowned women mathematicians;

-the gender gap in Maths in Africa by Prof. Sophie Dabo;

-discussion with the audience.

During the conference the speakers will be: Prof. Josephine Guidi-Wandja from Côte d'Ivoire; Prof. Olabisi O. Ugbebor from Nigeria; Prof. Selma Negzaoui from Tunisia; Prof. Sophie Dabo from Senegal and France.
