
PSI-I ECR Network in intersex studies
This 2025 event series is designed for early career researchers in Intersex Studies, offering a valuable opportunity to engage with experts, discuss key topics, share experiences, and connect with peers. The series consists of four online meetings, each focusing on critical issues in the field, followed by an in-person event on June 11th, 2025, after the Intersex Insights Conference in Dublin. The online events will feature expert talks, Q&A sessions, and opportunities to present your own “Works in Progress.”
The first event, on February 21st, 2025, will feature Daniela Crocetti and Tove Lundberg discussing “Positionality & Reflexivity: Activists and Allies in Academia.”
On March 28th, the focus will be on “Participatory (Action) Research: Community Welfare and Social Justice,” with invited speaker Michelle Fine and ECR discussant Adeline Berry.
On April 11th, the session will address ''Research in Action: Engaging with Policymakers,” featuring invited speaker Kimberly Zieselman and ECR discussant Nicoletta Pikrameno.
The final online event, on May 23rd, will cover “Intersex Studies: Working Across Disciplines and Cultures,” with invited speaker Amanda Lock Swarr and ECR discussant Emily Haddad.
