Voters, Brokers, Claim-makers, Protestors: Unpacking Women’s Political Agency in Fragile Polities

On Monday, March 6th 2023 at 12.40 a.m., the University of Cambridge Center for Gender Studies invites you to the seminar Voters, mediators, Claim-makers, protesters: Women’s political agency dealing in Fragile Polities.

The conference will be held by Sohela Nazneen, Professor at the Institute of Development Studies of the University of Sussex, and will focus on the difficulties that women encounter within fragile political systems and how their political action is limited because of male control.
