Why (Queer) History Matters: The Politics of History

The University of Bergen, together with other partners, organises two days of conference about queer history, how and why this history matters in different contexts. 

Especially, how the absence of queer history in national narratives affects contemporary societies and the acknowledgement of the rights of LGBTQ+ community people.
